great menu and specialty of veal dishes. Our waitress Amy was wonderful and very helpful about what is recommended on the menu. It is quite loud but very friendly and energetic atmosphere. The artwork on the walls is really interesting and I wanted to take it home. The desserts were small but delicious. I would definitely go there again and bring friends or celebrate a birthday or occasion there. It is a lot of fun.
After an afternoon performance of "Wicked" my daughter and I selected this restuarant for dinner. It was within walking distance and the moment I walked in I new I chose the right place to eat. The staff was fabulous. The food and service was excellent. I would definetly return again.
The restaurant is in a great location. Had to wait a few minutes for the table to be ready as theatre goers were just leaving. Maitre dei has a great personality and a lot to juggle in such a busy reastaurant but we did not spend more than 5 minutes waiting for our table. Great service. True NYC ambience. The food was absolutely delicious with the menu offering something for everyone -- including vegetarian. Will definitely dine here again!
I've been dining at Trattoria Dell'Arte for many years and have never been disappointed. The veal parmesan is always to die for. We were celebrating my boyfriend's 40th birthday on this trip to NYC and the staff at Trattoria Dell'Arte made it very special! We had a great booth, the food was amazing, service was fabulous as always, and who doesn't love a sparkler on their birthday cake with a serenade from the general manager?!? Wonderful experience as always!
always a terrific experience with great food and friendly staff a must when in new york city
It was cold....there were protesters....but it was warm and inviting at Trattoria Dell Arte Excellent food as always. Great service at check in. Service however once we were seated was not too good. We were seated upstairs, hadn't been up there before but it was kinda cool. The waiter was inattentive however...hopefully just an off night.
We go annually in December. The food is great, some of the best lasagne and fish you'll find! They are fast if you need to get to a show. Fantastic spot!
Delicious lunch (especially the warm shrimp and scallop salad appetizer), very welcoming staff and excellent - attentive and friendly (but not false or condescending) service. Everyone there always seems cheerful and that is contagious. It's an excellent location for an adults but also a place where kids can feel at home and like they're doing something special.
I come once a year, and it never dissapoints. From the antipasto bar, to the seafood pappardelle, the employees just make you feel at home. Great people watching, always a few celebs (Oscar De La Renta before he passed). My go to spot for Italian with an energetic feel.
