Food, especially the vegetable antipasto is wonderful.
Several of us from different parts of the country were in New York for a meeting and hoped for a table where we could talk. When we arrived the hostess nicely took us to a booth near the front. It turned out to be a great spot, both for food and fellowship.
Outstanding food. Outstanding service. From the moment you walk in the door you know it is going to be a memorable dining experience. 100 layer lasagna was the best lasagna I've ever had. Pizza was fabulous. Artichokes were fantastic.
My family and I know the Trattoria Dell'art when we were walking in NY and the whole family adopted all over the place, including care of you. We are Brazilians and the reception was amazing!
This year the family came from Phoenix, RI and Florida.
While the food is lays outstanding the noise can be overwhelming. The maitre d is good, wait staff is good but go here for the food.....best Italien in NYC for me.
we ate at the bar, as is our preference, and the bar tender was excellent - great service and delicious wine (his recommendation). The food is terrific - we especially like being able to order fresh antipasta - whatever is freshest is what they serve. My husband had the filet mignon which was flawless and delectable. I had the pizza which I loved.
Place is beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious. Service was incredible! From the great welcome and conversation with the greeting host to the best Waitress I have ever had. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable on all the dishes and wines. She couldn't do enough for you. Made the entire experience perfect. We look forward to going back!
This is our "go-to" place for Carnegie Hall and to take out-of-town guests. A real vibrant NYC scene. Great menus and pretty delicious although pricey. Service attentive and efficient.
