Very pleasant restaurant in the Carnegie Hall area. Nice decor, spacious. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thought the food was very good - give it an A- -- a bit on the pricey side.
Our second visit here and there will be a third. We sat in the front by the window, an area which is definitely quieter than the big dining room. The service is excellent and the food is very good. My husband had the Bolognese lasagna and I had the seafood risotto, both of which were very good. We shared an appetizer and a dessert and a bottle of wine. The food came in a timely fashion, we were not hurried, and we both enjoyed the experience. I would recommend this restaurant for others to try.
Haven't found an antipasto bar in LA that's even close to T del A, so it's my first stop when I hit New York.
The restaurant was overly crowded however the food was amazing.

Frequent diner at this place - always fun and enjoyable with very good food and service. It's got a NYC feel - lively, acceptably noisy, with quick, attentive service.
The setting is inviting and warm, as is the staff - As a long time New York concierge is was always with great confidence that I sent people here, knowing well that they would have a satisfying experience - Now retired, I come here with guest knowing always how pleased we all will be -
The service is excellent, very personal. The food outstanding. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food choice. Once you get used to the noise level then you get into the NY state of mind! It was our first night in NYC so maybe a bit overwhelming but still a great experience.
We had a very enjoyable dinner here and will definitely return. We thought the best thing about Trattoria was its proximity to Carnegie Hall but we were very delighted to have very good food and great service. We highly recommend this restaurant.
