Not bad if you are looking for Italian food near Carnegie Hall, but ridiculously over-priced, both food and drinks.
We brought our niece & her boyfriend. It was perfect because Ryan is a vegan and their "Veggie Bar" was what the doctor ordered for him. Plus there was nothing wrong with what we ordered. Great service as always.
The food was excellent and so was the service. Extensive wine list with some reasonably priced choices. Great experience if a little pricey.
The host was outstanding. I felt as though he had known me forever. The focaccia is the best I have had and the vegetables are fresh and perfectly prepared. THe wine selection was outstanding and the service was very attentive.

Normally, I have the duck. They were out! Tragedy ensued, but I tried some amazing fresh mozzerella for an appetizer (sure, they called it a Caprese, but it was all about the mozzarella,) and the Scallops with Shaved Truffles. I have never been disappointed by this Trattoria, and they didn't start now! The scallops were cooked perfectly, and I truly enjoyed. They have an interesting wine list, and fabulous service. We had a group of seven for dinner before heading over for a concert at Carnegie hall. You cant beat this place for an excellent meal as well as location
