It is just a fun place with good food, a wonderfully friendly wait staff, and a great ambience. Convenient to Carnegie, City Center and Lincoln Center.
We found the portion sizes to be rather skimpy for the price - particularly for the vegetables/salad bar. Quality of food was good; noise level was more than we are comfortable with. Service was attentive and cheerful.
We always visit Trattoria Dell' Arte when in NYC, and it's become tradition. Aside from the delicious food and ambience, the waitstaff are efficient and friendly, and many have worked there for years. This time we sat in the wine room, which was quieter than the main restaurant. But it's always a terrific experience to go there.

Best pizza in town. Thinnest crust, perfectly crisp. And the food is good, too.
I never thought I could love vegetables this much. They are addictive. We take out of town guests there and we have never been disappointed.
For a late night when all is closed, this is excellent. The best to eat: pasta or pizza. They are big and with thin. It also has an excellent antipasto (starter) table. All Italian goodies.
Everything here is really great. If you like really thin crust pizza (and I do), this is as good as it gets in NYC.The pasta is frssh, the ingredients are top quaility,and the antipasti bar is wonderful./
