We went to the restaurant on the upper west side and it was packed. I assumed this was a good thing since there were so many parties and many waiting for tables. Bar service was attentive. Food tasted good however when it came it was luke warm to cold. Service was ok. Pricey I thought for the type of food. Would recommend if you were in the area but I wouldn't go out of your way.

We were a group of 5 for a 6:15 p.m., Friday night dinner prior to a concert at Carnegie Hall. The table was upstairs, so crowded that there was barely room for us - luckily, one of us is very slender and just fit in. The service was hectic. had to ask for plate, napkin, silverware for the 5th person. Food was okay, noise level was horrific! The best part was its location across the street from Carnegie Hall. Perhaps it would have been okay if we would have gone later, but I don't think we will go back.

My favorite restaurant in NYC . The antipasti bar rules. Best veal in NYC. The service is super-quick and knowledgable.

This place never disappoints! Whether it's for lunch or dinner food and service is always outstanding. Very cool and casual and not stuffy at all. Everything from the huge Antipasto bar to pizza's to the full blown menu rocks. The veal chop (parmigiana) is unreal! Perfectly priced as well.

We arrived at 5:30 and were greeted warmly; the service was excellent and attentive. Noise level was fine until shortly before 7:00 pm when it became disturbing. The calves liver was astoundingly good, the pesto excellent the veal scalopine was overdone and rather tough. Well worth another visit.

This is a perfect restaturant for a pre Carnegie Hall drink/dinner. There is a wide variety of antipasto and wine for those who do not want a heavy pre performance meal as well as very large portioned entrees for those who do.

I had grilled sea bass before a concert at Carnegie Hall. My wife had a thin-crusted pizza. The food, service and attention by the wait staff was very good. The restaurant draws an over 40 crowd and is consistently filled for dinner. It is a good place for a large group with large tables and a separate room if required. Overall, very good.

Consistently good food. Can get noisey if set in the center. I sat in a booth and the noise level was moderate.
