The food is excellent. We had the soft-shell crab special--it was fabulous. And how much more convenient can you get to Carnegie Hall. My only complaint was the tables were a little close and several times I got hit in the back by a food server. Not their fault. I actually found the service to be excellent and friendly. I can't wait to go back for the pizza!
My husband and I dined here after a friend recommended this restaurant. I only ordered the antipasto because I was not particularly hungry and my husband ordered the salmon entree. The antipasto was fine, but not outstanding. The portions on the antipasto plate were extremely generous, however. The salmon was excellent and attractively presented. We also shared a tiramisu--which was excellent! It was moist and flavorful. The service was friendly, but the was a error in my order when the food was brought to the table. It was ... read more
Food ok, great location, fine and attentive service, comfortable ambience. But I see why their website has no menu prices--everything too high, even a ginger ale at $5.50. Gotta be kidding!
As always reliable food and service and a comfortable solution to eat at any time. Convenient for concert goers.

Food is always good. The thin-crusted pizza is outrageous! The antipasta bar is great after the theater too. It's always fun to sit outside and have a glass of wine and perhaps some pizza. The veal is good and really large--portions can be shared. The only thing is, it is crowded and very loud. If you're looking for a quiet and romantic restaurant this will not fit the bill! On saturday nights, esp. before the theater, they pack you in like sardines and the tables are very small--the chairs very tiny too and so uncomfortable... read more
We have been to this restaurant 4-5 times over the years and the food is always delicious. the host was very friendly and called me by name. the Canolis and Tiramisu were fantastic. We have not been disappointed over the years with the food.
My friend recommended Trattoria Dell'Arte on my first trip to NYC. I couldn't have been more pleased. The personalities of the employees went completely against my preconceived notion of New Yorkers. They were very friendly and made my girlfriend and I feel at home. The food itself was amazing. We started with fried artichokes that were a perfect appetizer. The wine selections was excellent and found a reasonably priced syrah that hit the spot. Unfortunately, they ran out of their lasagne by time we got there (which has to b... read more
From the moment we walked in the the time we left everything was excellent! Tom was great and the table request we made on open table was granted. Thank you
