I have dined at TDA many many times over the years when in NYC for business, typically with a group. But this time I was traveling with my 10 year old son on a boy's weekend. As usual, they don't disappoint. The staff bent over backward to accommodate him, which wasn't hard, but just nice. My dinner? Fantastic as usual. Love the nose on the wall and the other artwork. Attentive and friendly service. Loved the Artichokes alls Giudea. Good wine list.
Went here based on a fiends recommendation as a great neighborhood restaurant and she was correct. The service, the food, the place was amazing. Everything I had was wonderful. I ordered the veal parmesan (OK I know its not politicly correct - but I don't do it often) not only was in great tasting it was big enough to feed all four of us. (OK, the other three only got a good sized taste).
Exceptional preparation of a variety of your less-typical Italian fare of pastas, fish, and veal. Excellent service and attention (but not over bearing) from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Desserts perhaps 1/2 star less. We were given as much opportunity as needed to relax at the completion of our meal, after which we took a short walk to the theater. Very, very pleasant.
We had a group of 4 and we all enjoyed our food. Service was excellent and not at all rushed. We were meeting friends and had a great leisurley 3 hour dinner.
The food was great and our server, Bob, was fantastic. We will be back!
Trattoria Dell'Arte is always a hit in every dimension. Whether sitting at the antipasto bar alone, dining with a friend, or celebrating in a group, it never disappoints.
John from the antipasto bar was our waiter at a table close to the bar. Service was excellent as always and the food is superb! We eat from the antipasto bar and then if we have room we order a pizza. Great food always!
Restaurant is consistently good. Staff friendly and warm. Service terrific.
