Since having Dell'Arte recommended by a concierge during a winter visit a couple of years ago, we have returned to the restaurant 8-10 times for dinners, a couple of special occasions, & a couple of lunches. Service & staff are always great. love love this place, love the art work on the wall - Veal Signature is delicious - comfortable dining room - love the bar appetizer bar did I say veal is to die for.
We had salad as the appetizer. A very small portion for the money. As a main dish we shared the lemon chicken and pappardelle with eggplant; they were both very tasty, but again a little on the small side. The bread that was served was delicious; it was stuffed with broccoli or broccoli rabe (not sure) and tomato. The different antipasto salads looked very interesting; maybe for our next visit.
This place has a lovely décor and ambience. The service was great. Everyone made you feel welcome and special. The bread was good. The entrée was just okay. It might be what we chose. I would go there again and try different entrees.
We always make dinner here when in NY. Great food--rare tuna steak is the best! Wait staff friendly, accommodates table preferences, good bar, and always a pleasure. Happy place!

We have been coming here for years and it is always a wonderful dining experience.
Across the street from Carnegie Hall and up the street from Times Square this is a great place for a down town meeting. I will be returning for that purpose next month when I have another dinner in the same area! The food was great, service was wonderful and like all downtown restaurants, it can get a bit noisy, however that is more about living in New york and not the fault of the restaurant
