One of the best dining experiences I've had in a long while, they took care of my date and I with such care and attention. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal, and impeccable service!
Beware the host. He likes to kiss your hand...Yikes, besides that this place is such fun. Veggies prep grand, no rush service, nice wine list, clean, outside dinning....so very nice after a crazy NYC day..
When I'm in NY for several days, I usually have a final lunch here--good service, calm atmosphere, good food before a 5+ hour flight to San Francisco. This time I ordered the fixed price lunch--a couple of items from the vast appetizer display, a good entrée, a tasty chocolate sorbet--and a glass of wine from a well-presented list. Came here for dinner with family that were from out of town. The service was really good, everyone was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, we really enjoyed our evening

I never go to NYC without dining at least once at Trattoria Dell'Arte! I've been going here over 15 years. The whole experience is a pleasure--I always ask for a waiter with a great personality!
The restaurant had mixed reviews and I was somewhat apprehensive as I was entertaining guests from overseas. However, to my pleasant surprise the service was very attentive and outstanding. The food was good too and my guest from Sardinia said it was authentic Italian ! All in all a very enjoyable evening. The only little complaint was that the air conditioning was way too much - quite chilly !
Consistently excellent meal lunch and dinner for almost 20 years... I do not live in NY but it is my second home. This place is always awesome... meaball pizza or salmon... it all done well, every time!
Pizza, soup and salad are always my faves!
