I absolutely love Trattoria dell'arte. My friend highly recommended it and I was glad he did. I loved the Lobster Spaghetti Carbonara. Sooooooooooo, goooooood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were celebrating a friends 60th birthday. She was so impressed with the place. The artwork was fun, the food was perfect, it was a great recommendation by other Texas friends. The waitstaff was so nice and didn't rush us.
The food and, in particular, the service were excellent! I highly recommend Trattoria Dell'Arte and plan to visit again soon.
booked prior to carnegie hall concert--super close and what a delight...wonderful, busy place with a packed house at 615pm!! Fast service which allowed us to be on time for our concert, very attentive and professional waitress and the food was very enjoyable...although we just sampled a light antipasto selection and pizza(which was very good) the other diners nearby were all very pleased with their choices too..I would definitely recommend this restaurant whether you are going to carnegie hall or not! Some of the tables just inside the entrance are subject to considerable draft from the door in cold air conditions. They are also placed right where guests are standing waiting to be seated and this area is thus not a good area to be seated in.
Had a wonderful dinner before a concert at Carnegie Hall. We were a party of two and my only complaint is that our seating was so close to the tables on either side.
We went for an early lunch and there weren't many other people in the restaurant. More crowded as we left. Food was delicious. We went for the antipasto bar and it did not disappoint.
Creative appetizers, generous entrée portions, attentive service, fabulous wine
This restaurant really does have the best service in the city. The food though, is just average. Except for our starter, which was fab. House made burrata with prosciutto. Really delicious. Good wine, good Branzino entree, not great. Veal just so so, especially considering what you pay for it. A little let down.
