The staff cannot be better! Everyone is amazing! Nice to each other and super nice to the guests. The manager that night treated my friends and Ilike Queens!!!!! Cannot waitto go back. The food is awesome great for even and even great for vegetarians!!!!!
BUT the food was very mediocre the night that i went. The food came out so quickly, I would not be surprised if it was primarily pre-made. The fried artichokes are terrific in its simplicity but it needed a little boost Monday evening.
Mainstay for New York City for decades. Best pizza, salads and cannoli in town.
I try to dine here every time I am in the city. It is the best pizza in the city. There cannoli is my favorite in the world. Having lived in Europe, I believe that means something. Don't miss out. It's a New York classic.
We had a small party of three. Each of us ordered one of their pizzas, which come with a light crust and are indeed very tasty. The service was friendly and the headwaiter/greeter makes you feel that your presence has absolutely made his day. The cost was about $65 each, including tip. This included wine and beer and side salad. It is always nice to eat there.
I have been eating here since I lived in NY in the early 90's. The service is impeccable and the reception is quite warm and never affected. The antipasto bar is amazing with specials nightly. I highly recommend the double veal chop. NEVER LEAVE WITHOUT THE CANNOLI!!! It is exceptional. The shell is like a florentine cookie and it rests on a delightful blueberry coulis. I eat here every time I am in NY.
Always terrific before a concert, or for any reason that we're in the neighborhood. Delicious antipasti. Brought a visitor from St.Paul...loved it. Friendly service.
We were visiting from Atlanta, and were in NY to see the US Open, and celebrate my birthday. Friends of ours, from our neighborhood, spoke so highly of your restaurant, that we decided to try it. We enjoyed the whole time we were there. The food was so good, loved the wines, and the staff was so energetic, friendly, and accommodating!!! I can't say enough about this place. We will definitely be going back, and we will definitely recommend it to all our friends!
My wife and I were in NYC for a short vacation and were recommended this restaurant from my company headquarters. It did not disappoint. Every item from start to finish was of the highest quality. The server was balanced with his attention to our table.
