Fish was great and the vegan pizza was wonderful
Went for resteraunt week lunch and was surprised on how great it was. The short ribs were out of this world and the portion was enough for two. The wild mushroom soup was very good. The chocolate desert was not as good as the rest to the meal and the wine pours were a bit lite.
We always LOVE coming here. The food is wonderful, the service excellent and the ambiance charming. It smells wonderful the moment you enter the door. It is always bustling and a great place for a pre-theater dinner.
It has great Italian food. Very authentic. It gets quite crowded and very load, so if you can't get a table in the back dining area, it can be hard to have a business dinner.
Very few restaurants have been around and operating for over 30 years while run by the same operator. This gem run by Shelly Fireman continues to deliver! Wether attending a show at Carnegie Hall just a rossrhe street or just looking for fresh, perfectly executed Italian fare, Trattoria consistently delivers.
Fantastic authentic Italian. 101 layer lasagne is amazing...be careful though - once you try it you will have to make frequent return trips to satisfy your cravings!

Perfectly located across the street from Carnegie Hall; We enjoyed a very pleasant meal with very good food, attentive service and good drinks. There's a reason this place has had staying power over the years....it's better than it has to be.
