As always, a fantastic meal. Our waiver was extremely scatter-brained, which is not typical with the service we usually have at this restaurant. It took almost 15 minutes for him to come over to greet us. Another 10 minutes until water arrived. After that though, the entire meal went very smoothly. The restaurant was extremely busy that night though. The food was incredible as always. I will be heading back there again soon.
Second visit - food is outstanding Italian and very appropriate for later dining and holiday or special occasion celebration.
At holiday the restaurant is filled with out-of-town visitors because of its location and the good selection at the bar. Decor is great and the service is good. Rather pricey but the salad/food bar is excellent and always fresh. Always a standby.
The appetizers were very good. The lazagna could have been served hotter. The waiter was great.
As the name implies, very "artsie" decor. Food is prepared well and always very good. The antipasto bar is outstanding, could easily make a meal out of it with some nice white wine.
The service was good, we were not rushed considering that we stayed there for over 3 hours, we were with friends from out of town whom we see once a year. The food was very good. I highly recommend the restaurant.
Great pre-show spot across from Carnegie Hall. Classic NY style trattoria with friendly efficient service and well prepared old standards. Nothing flashy but never disappointing
Enjoyed this restaurant very much. We had reservations asking for a corner table and were accommodated perfectly. Our wait staff, the food, the ambience were all excellent. Would recommend to friends/family and will return ourselves
Loved the food and service, my only complaint was that the air was on and right above our table so it was uncomfortably chilly.
