Amazing meal! One of the best Italian meals I've ever had. Our waiter was quite haughty though. Attentive, but made us feel like serving us was such a chore. It made us feel bad to ask him for a refill. There was another waiter next to us that seemed fabulous. He seemed to be completely opposite of our waiter that it made me jealous that I was at another table!
Great for before the concert at Carnegie Hall. Friendly, accommodating staff.
The restaurant is wonderful. The maitre;d and the wait staff go to great lengths to see that you are comfortable. Service is prompt and courteous. Great wines. Great Food. Great Time
We went after the theatre on a Saturday late afternoon....just before Christmas, unfortunately every person with many children came with their families...we had been there before and it was a total adult place, ambience and all ... not this trip....but we had great service, wonderful food and loud loud loud noise thrown in! We had a reservation and were seated in a banquette one table from the front door, and each time the door opened the wind would not let it close.... so it was drafty but we enjoyed that over being too war... read more
Dined at this restaurant in December upon the recommendation from friend, during a recent visit to NYC. The atmosphere was energenic when you entered the restaurant and the staff appeared welcoming and happy to have us dine with them. The seating between tables was close, but not obtrusive. Service was prompt and courteous. I enjoyed the antipasto, in which I selected the olives, brocolini and calamari. I had the Tagliolini Al Forno and my husband had Fennel Sausage with Pasta. Both dishes were delicious. I loved the oversiz... read more
a;ways good and convenient for a concert-staff makes it a point to not rush but get you out on time.....food was quite good with three of us making different selections....
As always, our dinner at Trattoria Dell'Arte was fabulous. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were treated like family. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. We started with half orders of pasta that were superb and both my husband and I had the veal parm, which is the best we've ever had. Can't say enough good things about Trattoria Dell'Arte - consistently pleases us with great service and delicious food.
Superb. A new top 5. Very extensive menu, and the antipasti bar , where you can select one, two, or more, or create your entire dinner, is fantastic. I was also very pleasantly surprised when the bill came. Highly recommend. Can't wait to return.
Nice "old School" place. Food was good. The bowl of meatballs were outstanding. The cannoli was the best I've ever had, The 100 layer lasagna was also delicious. I nice touch is that they offer you warm oatmeal raisin cookies at the end of your meal.
