A New York favorite for many years. Never disappoints. The menu has changed a bit since my last visit, however, the quality and creativity remain outstanding.
Trattoria doesn't disappoint. I frequent this restaurant and it is consistently wonderful. The food is good and the staff is very attentive. They're very good, too, at honoring reservations. Make a reservation, and they've got your table ready for you. Very nice feature.
Very friendly. The manager greeted us as though we had been coming there for years. Jeff was our waitperson and funny and attentive. Other waitstaff came by to ask how we were doing and joking with Jeff. The food came quickly and was excellent. Will go back many times in the future.
First time there and will be back! Everything was first class. The best service I've had in such a busy Manhattan place.
Vibrant energetic environment with very attentive service (despite the crowd) and good food. Yellow fin tuna was especially superb.

My pizza was almost cold when I received it. I sent it back and it was not perfect when I received it the 2nd time. It was too late to send it again because I had to leave for a concert. The waiter apologized profusely, took it off the bill, gave us desserts for free. He did everything he could do to make me happy. The service was outstanding! I will return just for that (and, I know the pizza is normally excellent).
Had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day Meal with my family of seven. We were especially thankful for our great waiter Jason. We ate of the menue and had the best italian food ever.
