This restaurant has a special place in my heart from years past and it was fun to revisit it after many years. The food is still excellent and the experience worth the price.
great place for a table of six in what is a private room for 12 if necessary, even though we didn't ask for it.
Haven't been there for years. Great location for City Center and Carnegie Hall. Always lively, but not too lively, with a real NY feel.
The food is always wonderful here. We have always had good wait staff too. This time we got an extremely cranky waiter who we asked FOUR times for water. All he kept saying was that the theatre rush was making him to busy to get us water. He was able to bring our drinks but not the water until we finally went to a manager. They comped us a nice bottle of champagne which made the experience turn around. Would definitely go back but just goes to show one waiter can ruin an experience for a client.
Was a lot of fun. Noticed some tables received more attention than others, wondering what that was about. Waiter very helpful. Will return. Seafood risotto excellent. Buratta also.
We had been recommended to try this restaurant by a colleague and were not disappointed. Buzzy local trattoria, friendly service and a menu with something for everyone. In fact we ate there on our first night horribly jet lagged and still enjoyed it, so much so that we headed back there on Valentine's Night for another meal (we were a party of 2 mothers and 2 teenage boys) rather than face the unpredictability of the Valentine menu elsewhere! Great food and service but have to wait for a table even with a reservation on a week night
Enjoyed a great dinner. Our waiter was outstanding, and the food was great. I reccomend the antipasto bar.
