This is one of our favorite restaurants in New York. The food is no nonsense great Italian food. No pretention! We were actually there for Valentine's Day and had a lovely table. We shared one of the vegetable antipasta dishes - all delicious! My husband ALWAYS gets the tuna - it is always perfect! I have the lobster risottos which had lobster, shrimp, mussels and scallops - delicious! Our waiter was super - unfortunately I forgot his name but he was super!!!!!
Always fabulous food service and ambiance. We are never disappointed.
Across from Carnegie Hall. Large and varied Italian menu. Timely service, no problem getting out on time.
Very reliable midtown. Excellent staff. You won't be disappointed but expensive.
Excellent time, great food and everyone was very nice. Definitely a place for families.
Our server made the night special. Great food, great place...
Dependable, great for Carnegie Hall nights.

Plus there's no background music! Made uncomfortable silences worse! If you ... read more
I just wish the bread wasn't so good. I judge a restaurant by many things, the bread is one. They put a lot of attention to that. The pizza was delish as were the veggies from the antipasti bar.
