Before or after the theater or any time. Its fun and they are welcoming. Very good food.
Great and consistent food- service was good but somewhat spotty as there may have been a shortage of waitstaff on a very busy evening with the marathon crowds in town.
One of the best restaurants in New York City!!!
We were made to feel at home immediately despite the fact we were a bit late for our reservation. The food was outstanding. The Caprese salad was perfectly arranged. The Chicken Pepperoni Parmagiana was like nothing I had ever seen before and tasted better than it looked. The desserts were rich but not overwhelming. All in all a great dining experience.
Outstanding place! We visited after seeing the Radio City Hall Christmas show. It is a rare gem to find a place on a Friday night that can make a family with a 9 year old and a 5 year old feel like they are the only ones in the place (despite a very busy throughput of other diners). Brandon the director is fantastic as are all the staff Food-amazing anti-pasta and entrees. The lasagne was amazing! Branzino was rated very highly by my very picky wife! Desert selection very limited but outstanding. Very reasonable priced wine. L... read more
I love this place and always make an effort to take people from out of town here.
It's just too noisy. You can't talk. Tables are crowded and close together. The food is good but it keeps getting pricier and pricier. We go less often as time passes because of the noise level and crowded space.
Trattoria Dell'Arte has been a favorite restaurant for decades. In our family it is known as The Nose because of its major entrance sculpture. It always pleases whether it be after a Carnegie Hall Concert or a Mother's Day Brunch. The food is consistently very good. I like the shrimp and scallops with two vegetables from the antipasti bar. My husband likes the pasta and veal dishes. Desserts are rich and special. Strong wine list. Good iced tea. For a particularly quiet meal, sit in the small hidden away wine cellar. We had a wonderful post-marathon, family celebration. Our waiter and the host staff made the evening special. Thanks for the memory! It made our NYC visit special.
