Biggest problem here was that although Open table's list included this restaurant for the extended restaurant week ,the reality was that the restaurant had already finished the offer. We did go there during restaurant week and it was excellent. Without restaurant week, it is very expensive and we certainly wouldn't have gone. Open Table needs to do its homework a lot better as it's not fair to anyone.
Basically a good neighborhood restaurant, but in midtown, not in a true neighborhood. The food is good, but not great, and it's overpriced for what it offers. The antipasto menu is the best.
My wife and I enjoyed an excellent restaurant week lunch; all three course were superbly presented and the wait staff was attentive throughout. We have eaten there for dinner previously, stuck near the entrance at a small table passed by everyone on the way in and out of the facility. This time our seating was in the main dining room out of the lunchtime traffic, enabling us to savor the meal.
It was a total delight. Excellent food and exceptional service.
Food was amazing but very loud, busy place....
exceptional food, diverse menu, outrageous antipasto display, superb ultra thin crust pizzas
Really impressed with how they handled the 200 people in the 6pm-drizzly-Saturday-pre-Carnegie Hall crowd. Our service was outstanding, food was hot or cold as appropriate, and the cookies were a very nice touch. Though this restaurant group has an unnerving number of siblings, I'm always pleased with the experience.
This is a place with class, a place where they take service seriously. The early arriver from our party was offered a complimentary prosecco. We had immediate and top notch attention through the evening. Each dish was better than the next. The 101 Layer Lasagna was unbelievable, as was the Pappardelle with Roasted Eggplant. Our only mistake was ordering too many desserts, because 1. we ate everything and 2.each one would have fed four! Come hungry!
Service was great!although the noise was way too loud.Food was excellent and the wine was impeccable.I've been tothis restaurant sevral times for both lunc and dinner and always return witout disappointment.
