I would give this company less than one star if I could. The refinance process was extremely slow and dragged on far longer than it should have. While I do want to give credit to Ava, she was great and kept me informed throughout overall and was great. I am very unhappy with the experience. I would not recommend this company for refinancing.
Was offered one deal, then after a hard inquiry on my credit (which they said wouldn’t happen) I was presented with a different, horrendous offer. Very deceptive company, in my opinion.
Inquired about a quote... wasn't interested to I ignored 10 days of texts and calls. Only to be texted that "a hard credit check was pulled, I'd hate to see that go to waste" I did not authorize a hard inquiry nor did I show interest after receiving a disapproval email the DAY AFTER inquiring. Only for them to start contacting me that I'm approved & hard credit check was done.. Im keeping my current payment and getting out of this in 2.5 yrs instead.
IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS Intuit Credit Karma member Predatory and dishonest experience. Promises low rates on pre-approval only to hard pull your credit a few times and decline your loan application right away. Feels like a scam to get personal information.
I submitted my information with the understanding it was a "pre-approval" with a soft hit that would not affect my credit score. Upon approval, I asked if there were any fees involved other than the standard interest rate and was told - and I quote - "Of course, they are a for profit business, they are not a charity organization". I'm 60 years old and have owned a business for 20 years so I did not need the condescending remark from Mike Phillips about how businesses work. Talking to a representative they pulled my credit offered me a 6% loan on my current vehicle for refinance. Then when it came to the loan itself they tried to offer a much higher rate that I'm currently at. I'm at an eight percent loan currently and then they try to offer a 12 or higher. Ultimately hurting your credit score with a hard pull which wasn't fully authorized either. Then trying to sweet talk you into a low rate which sounds nice but then when it comes to actually offering was much higher poor experience.
If I could give them a zero I would, my credit is perfect, and I fit in all categories for the refi, but they kept trying to approve a much higher rate than advertised with no more options. I ended up taking a hard pull on my credit which I have worked very hard to keep in great standing all to find out. It’s a scam. I agree with many other people on this review form credit karma needs to disassociate with this company.
Scam, they will pull your credit multiple times. I had mine pulled 5 times in span of a couple of hours. Had to put freeze on all three bureaus to stop it. No idea how many more pulls they would have done.
Advertised lower monthly payment but when all was said and done, the new monthly payment was HIGHER! This is unacceptable especially when I have a DISABILITY!!!
