After seeing the rate I would get through credit karma I applied for a refinance loan. The offer I received from the loan officer was a lot more than I had anticipated. So I had to end getting a co-signer. After the fact it was rated lower but still not what was advertised. The loan officer took weeks to finalize the refinance and sent the funds late to the original lender resulting in me having to still pay the current loan at the time. Bait and switch scam, don't waste your time. Horrible customer service. Associate didn't have the information I requested or know how to find it.
I called and texted the agent back multiply times. I even asked if he could send me the approved contract but no emails, no texts, or call backs. But very thorough in running credit reports. Good job!
The person handling my loan process was good until he got his fees and then didn’t care to send the fund from new lender to old one. I was paying double interest for twice the amount of money I borrowed from lenders.
Awful. Bait and switch stay away
This was the worst lending experience I have ever had. Six weeks in and no completion of loan. Continued to request more info with large gaps of time in between communication. Said I never signed my loan documents when I did and have proof.
I had a disappointing experience with Robby from Tresl while inquiring about refinancing my vehicle with PenFed (PLEASE look at reviews and ask questions to make an informed decision). His email communication was unprofessional and made me feel pressured rather than supported. As someone trying to make a responsible financial decision, I expected respectful, clear guidance - not dismissive or aggressive messaging. I ultimately canceled the deal. Avoid to contact these scammers. Seriously this company is only pulling your credit and collecting your information. What they will offer you is going to be way worse than what you could currently have in loan terms. Don’t waste your time neither give them your information.
First of all, Tresl is not a finance company. They are a broker. So any advertised interest or auto finance terms are fake and it will change tge moment you apply. They will also do a hard inquiry the moment you submit your information. I was originally attracted by their very low interest rate for auto refinance. But once applied it changed completely. I told the gentleman on the phone that my goal was to reduce my interest rate ,but they only focused on a lower payment with a higher than current rate and a long term loan. ... read more
