Why was I told to fast when NO blood work was performed- and then I had to fast again when I went to Quest to have Blood work. Also, I was told to fast for my LAST appointment and when I arrived in North Attleboro I was told you could not perform a physical and I did not need to fast! That appointment was at 3:30 and my latest appointment was at 1:00. I am 67 and I don't think requesting a senior citizen to fast for such extended periods is appropriate - do you?
I was told I could come in to get a meningitis shot I needed that was missing from my required vaccines for school. I was told it would be a quick in and out. It took 45 minutes.
How was not asked who or where I came in contact with a person who was positive with covid 19 and very sick. I thought this was normal procedure.
I had a covid test, the women administrating the test did her jiob, but she wasn’t very nice. I understand this is a sign a toll has been taken from this pandemic.
The receptionist/ front desk woman answering phones was rude & unhelpful. Immediately picked up the phone and said “hold” then placed on hold. Zero customer service skills. The same front desk person also advised for the person behind me waiting for their COVID test to enter the tent when she just told me to go in. Creating possible infection for no reason. I did urgent covid testing with one being rapid and nobody called me
The process for COVID testing was not well conducted and significant concern for cross contamination with potentially COVID + patients. I expressed my concerns as a medical professional and I received an immediate response that Tristan was completing the process the best they could under the circumstances. Excuses = potential for increasing exposure unnecessarily. Secondly, I was told the Rapid was not covered by insurance. Could not have had a poorer experience with this center. The entire place feels like it's not being managed whatsoever. There needs to be better direction, the women up front need to have better attitudes, most importantly the communication here is abysmal. I was on hold for over 45 minutes to confirm an appointment. While I was sitting in the office I could hear them making snide remarks about another patient who had been sitting on the phone for over 30 minutes and "not wanting to deal with them". I had an appointment for 7 am. I was there at 6:30 and the lights didn't come on till 6:59. Then when I did get in the door was told to sit, I waited ten minutes while she answered phone calls and put them all on hold and watched her leave them there for a minimum of 5 minutes while she made sure her coffee was in the exact place it should be.
