They were over 1 hour late beyond the 2 hour time frame given for arrival. They damaged several pieces of furniture. Tried to scoot furniture across brand new hard wood floors. Didn't attempt to reassemble anything. Damaged the hard wood floors. Let boxes and furniture just drop to the floor instead of sitting them down gently. A family member had to help them with heavy items as they were not prepared and nearly dropped a refrigerator and nearly damaged brick steps. I'm really sad. I've used True Friends for three moves and was really excited to recommend them to a friend. Unfortunately my friend had an awful experience and I'm very embarrassed that I recommended them!

I hope I don't have to move again; but would not choose this company. After reading such great reviews; I was not worried at all about moving day. Well, I should have been. I did have an extra nearby stop , but not a huge amount to move. They did not bring padding for the floor; nor did they inspect or pad furniture. On the day of the move, the fellas who helped us were fantastic. Fantastic. The problem came after the move when we realized two of our beds were broken. No biggie. We bought the insurance. Biggie: We can't get anyone to help us with our claim. Sent the pics and now we have been waiting for weeks for a response.

Movers were fast and efficient. They finished moving my small two bedroom condo in 1.5 hours. One large scratch left on the wall while taking my dryer out and some small damage to furniture. Spoke to Chris to book my appointment and was told it was a 30 minute drive total. Was charged for an extra hour on top of the 2 hours I had already purchased on groupon.

Overall, we had a good experience however, they forgot our washer and dryer, did not do a final walk through and took off after loading up our apartment without speaking to us. When we mentioned the lack of washer and dryer in our new place they said nothing. When we called the company they wanted to charge us $200 for moving them after the fact. They made it right by contacting us and offering to move them later. The movers themselves were good guys.

My parents used this company. They had no regard for breakable items. They broke 6 things in all including a brand new tv. What made matters worse is that my moms jewelry box came up missing. They have been writing emails and calling for a week now and nobody from the company will call us back or answer any emails. All my parents want them to do it pay for the tv and get her jewelry back. They are willing to let the other damaged furniture go. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are not professional nor ethical!
