My overall experience was great! I would definitely recommend PennyMac Loan Services.
Process was not very fast or accurate.
There wasn't really anything specific. The time it took was a bit longer than expected. Considering we had to send in multiple sets of pay stubs due to them expiring before closing. And email responses was a bit longer also.
Overall wonderful, and easy experience re-financing. Everyone involved was very helpful and informative, especially Tom P. and Tyra N-M. We are very pleased with our rate we received and will highly recommend PennyMac in the future to family and friends. Winston
We had to check in multiple times to ask about our closing date. At one point our signing was scheduled and cancelled but the notary was not told and still showed up at our house. We were also told in an email that it was good we checked in because she thought everything was done. Two weeks later we finally signed. The process took 5 months.
Excellent service and the entire process was exceptional.
Tyra did a fantastic job with what she was given. She was the only reason we stuck with PennyMac. The underwriting process took way to long and we were ready to walk at one point. It was taking so long we were in talks with Quicken Loans. Tyra gets all the credit for us staying.
I was told there would be no out of pocket closing costs, there were. I was told not to pay the October payment, then collections started calling. I made the payment and called CS who told me I should NOT have paid that payment. There was nothing they could do to return that payment AND a $60.00 LATE FEE. I was not told how to pay my closing costs ahead of closing. I asked when the website would be correctly updated to which I have not yet received a response.
