People in North Babylon must be rich; this store is so overpriced. Things I can get anywhere else costs at least 10% more here. So you go for things you can't find at Shop-Rite. Their lobster roll sandwich is quite tasty (but small for the $20 they charge). They do good deli sandwiches (if you're willing to pay for them). Customer service stinks. I complained to someone in person & they shrugged me off with "that's policy." I wrote their "contact us" address & never got a response.
My daughter likes a certain cracker from here, so that's the only reason I make the trip. Wednesday afternoon, stopped in while in the area. Lots of workers on the floor, Only two registers open. Lines were SLOW and long. I literally had two bags of crackers and had to wait nearly 10 minutes to check out. Cashiers tried to move it along quickly but it seemed that every customer had an issue. Wish they had a 10 items or less lane.
I love their selection of products but the service at the deli department is horrible. I usually leave because the wait is awful. They are rude and pretend that you are not there. What a sad way to ruin the store experience
BUYER BEWARE! I found an item on their website I wanted and it was advertised as a 1 pound bag (16 ounces) for $3.99. I was very specific when checking to see if they had it in stock before I made the trip there. When I got there I found the weight was 8.8 ounces not 16, basically half at the same $3.99. I had to add a star to leave this review. Or I wouldn't have even added a star. Tried to order A. chop salad instead. Got the nastiest, woman that you could ever imagine. The manager said. Well I can't help that. She's nasty with everyone. That's just the way she speaks. And I said, oh, is that the way you run a business? She's nasty, so people have to deal with it? Quality has gotten awful. Along with customer service. Terrible!!
no organic pasta, lots of imported stuff. people want made in the usa. very limited selection of organic products in this store. they employ illegals who do not speak any English and this is illegal. employ American workers.
I love shopping at Uncle Giuseppe's, the quality, freshness, and cleanliness of their butcher department, I purchased all my steaks, hamburgers, my fish, and my poultry. I never look at their prices, their quality always seems to be top-notch. The deli department, and their prepared food department, always look nice, gleaming & clean. I'm a big fan of this store and the food there and have been a loyal patron but here is my issue . 7/2/25: Uncle Giuseppe's produce has really gone downhill. It used to be good, but the quality and freshness has lost stars in my review. If a produce package says Best Buy July 7, it cannot be trusted. which only means that they do not properly store their produce. When I opened the sale box, all leaves were wilted and the box spelled vile.
