Delicious food beautifully prepared. I used UGs for my sister's baby naming which was on Passover so we couldn't have bread and my sister has allergies to dairy, fish and nuts! Quite a list for any chef to work around !!! Yet Carol and the staff at UGs worked with me and made my party spectacular!!! The salmon teriyaki went so fast I was sorry I didn't order more! Going back in time, and finding the foods from your childhood isn't easy. Uncle G makes it possible! From their amazing nociolla gelato to cascavallo! Coming from Brooklyn/Queens raises your standards, and by far Uncle G has too if the line authenticity! Must haves: rice balls, prima Donna cheese and fig loaf with tiny square crackers, canoli cream, braided bread and their antipasto items!
Really nice grocery. The to go food is excellent. My complaint is it gets way too crowded. The prices are way overpriced, I'm paying probably almost double I pay at other grocery stores including nice ones like Trader Joe's. Their selection is small relative to other places. I'd recommend for the gourmet shopper but not practicable for basic grocery shopping. Well kept and the staff is friendly, just very expensive.

This place is fantastic there is every variety of food that you can imagine in this place the cleanliness is definitely on point with this supermarket everybody is willing to help you. Once again Uncle Giuseppe has supplied our house with a wonderful holiday dinner. Everything was delicious and plentiful. I have to say that the roasted butternut squash soup was a unanimous favorite. It definitely surpassed my homemade butternut squash soup. And the chestnut stuffing was even better than I had imagined. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert cookies was just wonderful. Thank you for your attention to detail and your superb service.
Uncle G's offers up plenty of fresh and delicious Italian food, quality meats, desserts and more. Pick up a ball of fresh Mozzarella, or a couple of steaks to throw on the grill and you can bet that Uncle G's has got you covered. Lots of really good homemade food made on the premises. Soups, salads, sandwiches ready to be bought and eaten. I love their macaroni salad with the spiral pasta. World class selection of fresh meats, cheese, olives, seafood, and international items. My favorite area is the wide variety of pre-made meals and apps. Deli counter is beat on area with quick service and full staff ready to assist. Make sure you visit the bakery section that has thw beat black/white cookie on Long Island. Hot samples every weekend throughout the store are tasting and plentiful.
