Uncle Giuseppe's Unfortunately, I don't have any uncles in my life. No siblings on my mother or father's side and no close family friends that I've ever referred to as "uncle" either. My husband wanted me to get him soup from there. Met some nice older guy thank was so sweet. He thanked me for coming shopping there. That was the nicest thing I heard.

The check out people need to be trained. No one can say thank you come again or Have a nice day. No one, and that's if they aren't talking to each other or on their phone. They are rude. Why don't you just Buy "Thank you! Come again" bags because they aren't going to say it, they will barely give a customer their receipt and act as though they're doing the customer a favor by taking their money. The produce is good but pricey. The Illy and Lavazza coffee I drink can be purchased cheaper elsewhere. The Hagen Daaz & other i... read more

Why don't you just Buy "Thank you! The other day I went into the Port Jefferson location specifically for "Linguini with White Clam Sauce". We love it from here and eat all of it, but I couldn't find any in case. This was the second or third time this has happened- I asked the man behind the counter, he said they had none but if I would wait he would make one for me! HECK YEAH! He OFFERED to make a fresh one just for me and 10 minutes of wandering the bakery, I had a hot, fresh tin of the stuff, bursting with little clammies and garlic, for what? $30, 25$,... read more

This review is based on only a couple of visits. I'll provide updates as needed. To date, the store appears very similar to the Smithtown location (which I recently reviewed). As with the Smithtown store, the prepared foods and bakery are very good; and customer service appears to be on top of things. Access to and maneuvering around the parking lot will be more difficult at this location. However, this is more a function of the store's placement in the more congested Melville area, rather than a failing of the store it... read more
