Great windows very poor customer service. Will not recommend anyone to do business with UWD without telling them about the horrible customer service. Jake the warehouse manager at the Indy location needs to understand most of his customers have to work normal 7-5pm jobs Monday - Friday and maybe try to accommodate to customer schedule and not be a complete ASS when arranging installation and threaten a storage fee because they cant meet his time frame. Universal Windows Direct of Indianapolis is trying to make me pay for their error. On 08/06/2019 Jeff (sale representative) gave in home presentation and I ordered my windows. I did not know at the time that my double hung windows would only have half screens! Jeff never discussed the screen options with me or my fiancé. After my windows were installed, I noticed my double hung windows only had bottom screens. No response from text or email. Draft around Windows and windows wet inside house every morning. Poor customer service.

Install was great, quick and clean. The rep told us we were getting a frosted window for the bathroom, didn't t write it down, so they say, and put in a regular window in the bathroom. We called, 3 times because they never got back with us and now will put a frosted window in for 200 more dollars. Not good business. You made the mistake, we paid what we were told.
Had to contact multiple times to receive receipts of payment which they told me were “automatic.”
The most frustrating experience ever. As soon as we paid $9000 (Apr 19) to start our project to replace 26 windows in our house, all we hear from the company is why they cannot deliver. The window manufacturing process took extra month and a half, the excuse was is that we have one small semi-circled window that causes manufacturing delay. Can't believe it.Order was manufactured finally (Jul 11) and installation is scheduled. We were told that installation takes 3 to 4 days and starts on Monday July 29.
