Left the dealership with new wiper blades and the tech installed them wrong. It started raining and the blades bent and got caught on to each other in the middle of the windshield. Unfortunately, I almost got into a wreck because of this happening. This could have been prevented if the tech tried them out before handing the keys back to me. He didn’t realize he put the wrong length blades on.

I have been going to Vandergriff Chevrolet for 12 years and have had great experiences, but this last time was a tough one. I bought the cutest green Chevrolet Sonic for my son and he absolutely loves it the problem I had was.the thing that was promised and that was a new windshield. It was stated to me a cracked windshield passed inspection. So then I noticed the horn did not work. Apparently, a cracked windshield and a horn that does not work passes Texas State inspection? I am grateful that Vandergriff Management, Emily,a... read more

Drove 45 minutes from McKinney to buy a car only to find out the AC wasn't working. I did a cursory inspection of the vehicle and noted that the dash alerts showed low coolant. I kept info to myself that I suspected the low coolant likely kept the AC from turning on. They said they topped off the coolant but the AC still wasn't working. "Oh, the guy who traded it in said the compressor might be going out." Uh huh.... I said I brought a sizeable down payment and was willing to finance if they would fix the AC. They said ok...... read more

Purchased a new vehicle. Transmission leaked day one. Spent all of day 2 with truck in their service department. The entire day. When I returned home the transmission leaked all over the floor again. Returned the vehicle and purchased a different one. Days of time wasted. Poor quality, poor service, mismanaged.

Everything went well until we left the dealership. Discovered there was no spare or jack. The sales person’s response to everything was “that’s the way it came in”. No floor mats, no key fobs, no jack and no spare tire. Didn’t leave us with a very good impression after that response. They did however give us 2 fobs to get programmed. Of course one of those didn’t work at all. We came in from out of town to buy the truck. Also had to request the paperwork for the extended warranty we purchased be mailed to us. We trusted and ... read more

Service dept misdiagnosed and misrepresented my service repair to the manufacturer causing my warranty to be voided for the repairs. I had to come out of pocket $550 for repairs that should have been covered under warranty. Service dept tried to charge me for repairs that were not needed on my vehicle. I ended up taking my vehicle to an independent mechanic for the repairs.

Every single time I come I'm stuck there over an hour and when they're finished they always have to drive my car back around again to fill my windshield wiper fluid, even though I specify "please fill my windshield wiper fluid" every single time I drop my car... In an attempt to avoid being stuck there even longer. Customer service is amazing but everything an attempt to pacify the lack of attention.

Curt was the saleman that helped me. Wasn’t impressed when they try to have me pay for more than what I agreed on. But other than that, love my car
