I went in today to buy a truck. It was early morning. Mike was my salesperson and he was very nice. He did a great job bending backwards to do his job. Things went south when his manager came out to greet us for the first time only to tell us that the truck we were looking at was sold. When we were still negotiating price. I asked why? He said first come first serve. I said yes we are here negotiating. Its not Mikes fault but the manager new we were there first. Worst car buying experience I have had. I should’ve walked away with the number of red flags that were present. After the purchase I have reached out to one of the managers and 2 people in finance who refuse to help me with a simple request with copies of documents. The manager has yet to respond to my email as well.
This dealership is a joke. Our family has spent well over a hundred thousand dollars here and we will not spend another penny. They do not abide by their warranties even when given proof of invoice and signed contracts. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone!!!
Shady, shady, shady. A complete lack of integrity here! Don’t buy from Vandergriff, they rip you off, change the agreed upon pricing, and add in BS items that you didn’t ask for to pad the price by $2k+! I drove down to buy a truck, agreed on $24,198, and it ended up $26,897 before taxes & fees. I asked the manager, who lied, said that’s their standard practice, then asked me to leave when I questioned his honesty. Sneaky, shady, dishonest. Emily, the sales rep, was nice, but not able to overcome her awful managers.
These guys show a price on the Internet that looks like a good deal. When you get there you get to see the window sticker that shows you get to pay an additional $1800 to get your vehicle. They want to charge you for "paint protection" that is a load of BS, Then for a Kahu security system that you dont need and widow tint, that costs them about $100. Really wish there was an option for 0 stars! Absolutely the worst sales experience I have ever had. Ranging from Morgan who said she was a sales manager lying in regards to telling me that the salesman was on his was to my property at 11:20 am for a test drive scheduled at 12:00 pm And by 1:00 pm no one ever showed up for the test drive. After two days of conversing with Nathan nothing has been accomplished. I was interested in a 2021 Tahoe, and have 2 vehicles for trade. I sent the requested vin numbers for the trades. I asked the value for the trades and was asked to send the vins and pictures again. Nathan should have given me a price and the deal would have been done. Y’all missed a sale.
