I went to the Arlington Vandergriff Hyundai dealership last week on Monday and test drove a Hyundai Palisade. I noticed a warning light on the dash for the headlight and informed my sales consultant and she advised she noticed it too. I liked the vehicle and was ready to purchase the vehicle. The dealership attempted to charge me for the repairs they did on the vehicle and ultimately removed the charge. Worse dealership I have ever dealt with 😡. Purchased my vehicle there it turns out it needs a repair and apparently it is on back order since October or 2023 and I'm told to just drive the vehicle with a faulty fuse box and if the car catches fire or malfunctions then Hyundai Consumer Department will deal with the issue. Frustrated and disappointed customer never again will I purchase a piece of crap car from this dealership. Not mention the air conditioner blower is no longer working or the defroster. They will try to con you out of as much $ as they can. Avoid buying any warranties, they won't honor them. They are just trying to get more money out of you. They refuse to make it right. They are old school shady used car salesmen.

The service and advisor were good but the waiting area was freezing. Also it’s annoying to have to do a minimum of three surveys each time I take my car in.

I received an online quote to sell my car to Vandergriff Hyundai. My vehicle had absolutely no mechanical issues and was running great for years prior to arriving to the dealership. The appraiser who assessed my vehicle test drove it and while he was driving it, all of a sudden the check engine light came on and car was idling rough. I was in utter shock and irate. Hi Teddy, When we appraised your trade and the check engine light came on, we took it to service and have them scan for codes. Your vehicle had just had the codes cleared before it came in, so we could appraise the vehicle without knowing that there was something wrong with it. All of this is verifiable when a tech scans the vehicle for codes. We strive to provide clear and accurate information when assessing each vehicle that comes in, but this is made difficult when cars are altered to show misleading information.

My fiancé was looking for a Cadillac XTS or CT6 preferably, when we saw a 2016 XTS Platinum at this location priced at $22K. We sent a message to this dealership to schedule a test drive & they HOUNDED us to come out. He test drove the car, he smelled an oil burning odor and I heard a loud bump in the back end, the salesman riding with us said the oil smell was from the recent oil change and then said he didn’t hear the loud bump.
