Wanted to express a situation that could have caused an accident and possible injury due to improper maintenance performed on my vehicle. Earlier in the month my Sonata Hybrid was brought in for a software update due to a recall, A few weeks after this update while traveling on the Freeway, traveling approx. 70mph the HEV system failed causing the vehicle to decelerate from 70mph to 45mph in just a few seconds. Today I went to the dealership to test drive a 2021 hybrid Santa Fe, 3 k miles. As soon as I sit down Salesman Andy says just so you know there is a markup on all cars. So he confirmed the sticker price that is advertised is not the price. I told him no thanks. Of course he went to his manger who said drive it and if I like it we can talk. I'm very disappointed with this dealership. Their internet sales prices are deceptive. I inquired about a vehicle priced at $30,115. After spending a day discussing the details of the vehicle, the price, financing, trade in, etc., the final sales offer price was $4,500 higher than their price advertised on cars.com and on their website. Vandegriff's internet sales manager (Ashley) and new car sales manager informed me that "the $4500 difference is for Market Value Adjustment. Excellent Customer Service Dept. However, in the waiting sales area. No one ever acknowledged my presence. Not even a hello. I was there for 2 + hours. Not one person said could I help you with anything.

Didn’t take long at all. Definitely great positive experience, but then turned sour real quick. Great sales team, but the experience is no longer as great as it was.

Been looking for a new car for a couple months now. I finally chose the Hyundai Tuscon. Let me say that the sales staff that greet you in the lot when veiwing & testing driving the cars were great, but it all eneded there!! We were interested in the 2022 Tucson Limited. The MSRP was around $36k. We made a CASH offer for the full MSPR price, and it was declined. Then MSRP + $2,500. Declined. They stated the options were not included in the MSRP. WTH? REALLY?? Very bad customer service for new car buyer. Stiffed us on the 2nd set of remote/key and it has been over 8 months with no resolution. Lied to us twice that the remote has been mailed out.Spoke to their GM last month who assured resolution but never called back or responded. We have emails as proof that we sent out to Hyundai directly and text message to their sales manager for proof that we were owed a remote. These remotes are pricey to justify us buying on our own.
