While it was a lengthy process, as car buying can be, everyone was pleasant and professional. Great dealership from which to buy; have purchased 2 other vehicles (that we still drive) with them in prior years.
Bernardo was very helpful and patient throughout my entire car buying experience. He knew all of the Hyundai features, inside and out, and was able to answer any question I had. I had visted a couple of different Hyundai dealerships before ultimately coming back to Vandergriff, where Bernardo quickly recognized me and sold me my new Sonata. I have now been driving it for over a week and am very happy with the purchase I made.
I brought my 2012 Hyundai Tucson Limited in for an oil change and a nitrogen fill-tire rotation on January 4, 2013. I have been car shopping, but due to time constraint and my work schedule unable to purchase. I have found a true gem, and Maletta has never once forgotten about me. I plan to schedule a day off in the new year to purchase with Maletta.
We went to Vandergriff to trade our 2010 Malibu for something with comparable space and better fuel economy. Give it to Hyundai for the Elantra design. Anyhow, our car developed a couple problems shortly after purchase, but Tony K in sales and Amy Kemp and Ken Mauldin in service did everything they could to work with Hyundai to diagnose and fix the issue. We visited this dealership on an unplanned visit. They made us feel welcome, got us exactly the model we wanted to test drive and evaluate without pushing for us to see a different and more expensive model. This sales consultant, Maletta Larry, was extremely knowledgable about the vehicle, its features and capabilities, the warranty, all the questions we normally have about a vehicle but most consultants can't answer. Maletta made the whole process of online car shopping super easy! Communication via email and phone when looking to buy a car from a different city can be tricky. You don't always know what you're going to get or what add-ons might be added to the online price, but Maletta and her team broke it all down for me and gave me price assurance.
