Horrible Customer Service Charlie is brash, overbearing and extremely difficult to talk to. He's accusatory and shifts blame onto customers for his service department's deficiencies. It was hard to get a single word in edgewise, into a conversation about a repeated Toyota issue that Vandergriff didn't fix. Don't ever buy car or truck here the will rip you off Order my truck 2 week ago got approve sign all paper work they tell me to come pick my truck in 2 week got here and they turn around and say I got to put $5,000 down cause the bank didn't approve all my loan only half of the truck that's xxxxxxxx they didn't call me and let me know about this problem. Crooks. I wouldn’t give these people a 1 Star. We bought a car and they gave us a great deal. Five days later they asked for more money down or to give us a cheaper car. It was a ploy, I believe that they knew this would happen and we’re hoping we would come up with something because we were attached to the car. Pre own car purchase My name is Jean P Huynh i recent purchase a 2006 Toyota Avalon about 2 weeks ago but I have to keep calling back for multi service needed like no heater no AC ABS/air bag light go off all the time, it was fault to believed the sale man name Shawn Alexander told me everything works in a little test drive and now the sale manager refused to fix all my problem. bait and switch I agreed on a internet price with the salesman when i went into the finance office he tried to sell me a $4000 warranty for a hour which i refused , he went into another office and came back and said the the printer had printed on the lines and had to reprint so he reprinted it .My wife and i had been there all day and were tired , when we got home i looked hard at the paperwork and the price had been increased by over $4000 the amount of the warranty i declined . i called the GM numerous time and nothing . Horrible experience We were 100% guaranteed a vehicle even brought the truck home, only to find out 5 days later they wanted more money down for a different vehicle. We decided on another vehicle AND signed papers only to find out yet again paperwork was wrong and had to resign 2 days later. We opted out and 5 days later still have not received the money we put down nor have we been notified of status. NEVER AGAIN WITH THE COMPANY. Horrible communication with finance and lies.
Update your system! Last week I wanted to look at cars while I had my vehicle serviced. It's so frustrating showing up to the dealership and not finding the salesperson listed on here. Plus it took 30 min to find out he didn't work there asked for another Hispanic listed and they had no idea of who they were and if they still worked there, most of the staff is new and have no clue of what they are doing. NOT A Good customer service To whom it my concern: On Saturday, September 23, 2017, my wife and I went to Vandergriff Toyota to look at mini vans. We had the option to go someplace else, but we had seen good deals online and thought to give it a shot. Once we pulled up, Marc greeted us in the parking lot. Terrible Sales Experience I asked for an internet price on a RAV4 and when I arrived at dealership they raised price $2,000. Also, Sales Manager smelled like smoke and said it was a different vehicle but it wasn’t. Also I overheard some racial remarks from their staff about people who had airchecks. I had heard a lot of bad things about them but wanted to give them a chance I think I will go to Grapevine in the future a co-worker told me they were very friendly and make really good deals
