The dealer answered my questions and sent me additional pictures within 15 minutes of my phone call. They were very helpful.
Vandergriff Toyota called me quickly after I I submitted my contact info through cargurus.com. They were helpful and understanding. I visited the dealership to take a look and test drive a vehicle I saw online. While there was an erroneous price shown on cargurus.com according to Vandergriff, they nevertheless treated me with respect and fairness. I have received a good price offer but haven't made a final decision until I pay a second visit to the store. So far, so good ... this is an honest and understanding dealership.
Great followup
Lacking experience in the art of sales, was more concerned about selling the car and moving on to the next customer then answering my questions and concerns about the car. Waited several days before contacting me after I addressed him about concerns I had about the vehicle. Once he did call me back and I told him I wasn't interested in the vehicle he did call back a couple more times to see if I had found a vehicle.
Not purchased yet, but I have found the folks at Vandergriff to be friendly and honest and feel comfortable buying a used car from them post Hurricane Harvey with lots of flooded cars on the market.
They were quick to respond and very friendly. Especially working with Mike Hernandez, he did a great job keeping in touch with me and even letting me know that the vehicle had sold. I would work with these guys again.
Fantastic, even though I'm just starting to look and made it clear that I wasn't going to purchase a vehicle for 8 months, they were super friendly and patient with any questions I had.
Responded right away
They responded quickly, but kept asking to come to dealer. The "internet" sales team needs to work better with email and text to work out a deal, they are way behind others dealers in response time and helpfulness. After repeated requests to get to an out the door price, they added on a certification fee to the listed price increasing the saels price by ~$1300. This is such an old-school tactic, they need to evolve and get up to date with internet sales. I went to another dealer and had much better experience.
