Get directionsYes it's pricey it's a 24/hr ER. Duh. It is 100% worth it. Dr. St Clair was absolutely amazing and helped me to stay calm during a very stressful emergency with my pet. They are very transparent about pricing and she gave me several different options in different price ranges. She explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood. When I ultimately had to transfer him to a different hospital for surgery due to pricing, they totally understood and assisted with the transfer. And they even followed up to see how his s... read more
Training Boarding advise always there for me and my shadow. I would recommend them all day every day.
They took great care our dog. He got through his cancer treatments with flying colors.
Business response:

Surprised to see the negative ratings. Have unfortunately had to be here a few times with different dogs for different reasons of varying seriousness. I've never experienced anything other than quality medical care, kindness, and professionalism.
Business response:
Your positive experience with our services is greatly appreciated. Thank you for sharing your feedback.
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the goodness of VRC. We live in southern Delaware so quite the drive up from there. But ALL worth it. When all bets in Delaware fell short(vidavet, spca, Windcrest, Blue pearl, willowgrace) for my senior dog, almost 11yrs(and I have two dogs), it was VRC that stood apart and Dr. Sadanaga and team gave me a precise diagnosis and systematically approached the problem. One month later I went home with a happy problem free dog and regrets that I should've come here earlier. Lesson's le... read more
We had to put down our 16 year old dog in January, after sudden symptoms that pointed to a ruptured mass with internal bleeding, They were prompt and caring, and took the time to explain options and the process, never pressuring us one way or the other - but gently leading us towards the right decision. They were compassionate and gave us as much time as we needed with him. They seemed almost as heartbroken as we were.
Business response:
Jane, thank you for your kind words. We know all too well how difficult it is to say goodbye to a beloved pet. We are glad we were able to provide some comfort during this tough process and please don't hesitate to give us a call should you need anything.
Went there this morning in a rush with my puppy. Everyone was so kind and helpful!!!! Really helps in a stressful situation!

Thank you from the bottom of my wife and my hearts!!! Our dog CiCi was taken care of and promptly underwent surgery. The Doctors, Nurses, Receptionists, everybody was amazing and friendly! We are so happy to have our girl home safe and sound!
Dr. McGough was amazing. He saved us a huge headache and heartache when our dog swallowed a feminine product and we were told we'd likely need to pay $7K for a surgery. We were sent home and told to come back first thing in the morning but Dr. McGough called us immediately back in and told us he reviewed the X-rays and thought he'd be able to get the item out endoscopically - and he did! It was a fraction of the cost, no recovery time and our little guy had no idea anything had happened.
