Melvin was run over by a truck 3 yrs ago in Chadds Ford; police said that it was highly unlikely he would survive. Well, survive he did, Melvin was only a year old when Dr. Jana Norris and her team of angels put him back together. I recommend to all my pet loving friends that they put VRC on their emergency phone contact list - #VRCmiracleworkers.
Dr. Franczuszki saved our dog Eclaire so she was able to walk, he even had to order special instruments to do the TPLO surgery on our little girl. We highly recommend him and he has the most outstanding reputation.
I cannot speak highly enough about the doctors and staff at VRC. I have been to numerous veterinary clinics and specialty hospitals over the years and my pets have never received the quality of care, patience, and understanding that they have received at VRC. Dr. B is amazing!!!!!! We had our new rescue that broke her tooth. I was calling around looking for ballpark pricing. Not only did Dr. B call me back directly, he spent 20 minutes discussing possible options and the growth of a canine tooth. We decided to go with him because of this. Then he did the work and he called before, during and after the procedure. Did a follow up at no charge and even a quick fix when our pup chipped it playing! We would recommend D. B and the staff!
Dr. Sadanaga is the best. My dog needed back surgery and while it was not inexpensive it saved my dogs life.
My dog has unfortunately, been to the VRC several times in his short little life. Three severe allergy attacks, weird bruising, patella surgery, and an ulcerated tumor on his toe. I cannot rave enough about how much I love the staff here. They truly care about the animals and their well being. The doctors don't talk to you like you're a moron either. I read the 5 star review for Dr. Brady Beale,V.M.D.,DACVO and along with the recommendation of my regular vet to have my sweet baby's eye's checked. She's one of those breed's that usually needs entropian surgery and she already had her first surgery elsewhere. I agree Dr. Beale is professional, knowledgeable an articulate and she and her staff were so very caring and lovely with my girl that it really gave me the confidence to entrust them with my baby. Dr. Sadanaga saved my dog's life in May, 2013. She had to have a very big surgical procedure to remove a tennis ball sized mass that was blocking her ability to pass stool. She had a mammary mass and a large stomach ulcer. He did the surgery and removed all masses and the ulcer. It was quite the surgery, but Dr. Sadanaga has great surgical skills and my dog now has no problems going to the bathroom. Took my beloved retriever here for a badly scratched cornea. My regular vet referred me elsewhere but I didn't trust my regular vet because they couldn't tell me why he referred to this specific opthamologist. Do they send him the best lunch once a month?
