Get directionsUnfortunately I had to make a trip to VRC this morning with a young kitten that I literally got from the SPCA to foster yesterday evening. I was feeding the other kittens and it wouldn't stand or really do anything. I was a mess and didn't know what to do. I have always had animals but have been lucky and have never had to go to an emergency vet. I wasn't able to get in touch with anyone at the SPCA so I looked up a 24 hour vet. The kitten was in really bad shape and I had it on my lap petting it just hoping that it would h... read more
If you want the best treatment for your animal child you may find yourself here one day. Be sure to know just how much you still have left on your mortgage and whether you want to take a vacation anytime soon. All the people are professional and polite as they can be with 20 other people and animals coming and going within a 15 minute wait time in the lobby. They must have an army of people working there and that's why it is so expensive. BUT.................be aware that whatever they quote you as an estimate will most like... read more
Just moved to the area from NYC and had to take my dog for an emergency visit after he had a stroke. The staff is A+++ at my delicate time with my dog. NIke was treated like superstar as a usual client. Dr. Maryanne Gaul-Anastasio was very caring and professional. She gave me options and what was best for my dog. VRC made the whole process nice and delightful. VRC is A+++ and highly recommend.
Dr. B the dentist is top notch. Yes it's pricey, but I paid less elsewhere for a botched job. If your dog needs serious dental work, it's best to just go to an expert. He is caring and compassionate and called me multiple times during the surgery to update me. He also lets you know up front what the cost is expected to be. Everyone we interacted with at this practice was courteous and professional.
You can sense once walking in this building that this is a first class veterinary clinic. Everyone was professional, polite and helpful. I'm sure the care is second to none if you can afford it and that's where it ends. I took my 9 yr. old Weimaraner (Jake) there who needed an abdominal ultrasound which he received - a little pricy at $467 but I paid it. After reading the ultrasound, the doctor recommended immediate surgical considerations - surgery at $4000 - $6000 dollars. Lets be frank - we all love our pets and they are... read more
Dr Sadanaga is the BEST VET EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't trust my Havanese with anyone else!! So caring and gentle. True animal lover!!
I brought my dog here for a sudden, severe, neurological illness. They were compassionate and took her back to stabilize her before worrying about the payment or other check in details. It ended up being an end of life situation, unfortunately, but they handled it as best as that situation can be handled and they were helpful in walking me through it. 4 stars instead of 5 because for the day or so she was in the ICU, I didn't get regular updates- I had to call them for updates. They also thought she had a seizure instead of ... read more
This is an excellent facility if you need urgent care for your pet. I took my 12 year old baby here after my larger dog played a little too rough with him and crippled his front leg. From the moment I walked in the staff acted swiftly and showed great concern - they had an efficient process at the front desk for checking him in and took him to the back immediately for an assessment and pain treatment. With the proper medication and advice from the vet, I'm happy to report that my little guy is walking again. Thank you VRC!
I cant give 5 stars because I have had great care with specialty and not so great care here (during one particular emergency with an Emergency Vet who I won't name) BUT, the front desk is fabulously organized!!!! Compared to Metro. Dr Miller is direct ,fantastic and skillful. ADAM DURIS in emergency is wonderful. SARAH FATULA in emergency is kind. Dr Schilling has done many of my pets ultrasounds and is wonderful. He did make one mistake back on 2012 when my dog had ultrasound and missed looking at the Prostate. (the are... read more
