We were mostly impressed with the way the residents were treated and how they had good communication, food, and activities for them. The campus is beautiful and the Studio unit was what my sister was looking for. We have a few more to see in the Villages area but you are top of the list.

Generally we are happy with all aspects of the facility. I have eaten there with Mom and the food was good. Staff is attentive and friendly. Room is always clean as is the rest of the facility.

Some nurses were very helpful, others didn't do much, so hit or miss depending on whom was working. They didn't accommodate the multiple moving of furniture we had to do and they were proactive on comments we made, like ants in the bathroom.

We've been very pleased with Village Veranda - the staff is very caring and considerate. The Memory Care Unit is well laid out and comfortable.

Our mother has been at Village Veranda 1-1/2 years. While we agree somewhat to some of the negative remarks seen, we also understand that you would be hard-pressed to find any facility that meets every need or does everything we expect perfectly. We've had some problems since Mom began her stay, but found both the staff and management are willing to listen and honestly do what they can in making corrections and taking steps to prevent them from happening again. We chose Village Veranda because of the location and their memory care unit as well as the availability to add on extra services if needed. The facility is in a very convenient location.

Staff is amazing, facility is clean and inviting. Efforts to engage the residents is ongoing and daily. Residents are friendly and are quick to include new residents. Love this decision and so does my mother. She took about two weeks to adapt and is now thriving in this environment.

The staff is great. The facility is clean and well maintained. My mom is happier than she has been in years because she is comfortable, well cared for, and close to me I tell everyone about how easy A Place for Mom made my mom's move and how grateful I am as well as they should contact your services if ever the need arises.
