Billing/Collection Issues I applied for several rental homes here in ****** **** that Vinebrook offered. There website allows a rental lease applicant to set up an account with a lot of sensitive personal information. Once you fill out an application, they require the tenant to pay for the security background check ($60), which only needs to be done once. Advertising/Sales Issues I was told my rent would be $1200 until my lease expires and after that it will be month to month at $1410. I signed paper work with that information. For the month of may I was charged $1200 x 2 which she $2400 and I cannot get anyone to answer my phone calls and e-mails
Problems with Product/Service I had no choice in becoming their customers. We were renting a house owned by another leasing agency who sold our home to Vinebrook in the middle of our lease. 1. Maintenance requests-It took over a month and a half for someone to come look at our AC. When they finally showed up, they did nothing and said they'd have to come back & never did. 2. Problems with Product/Service I moved in to Vinebrook Homes on 3/18/2021. Since moving in I have had to contact them twice for plumbing issues only to find out the standing water etc in my basement is RAW SEWAGE! On top of that the foundation around the house is causing leaks into the basement that they claim they are not responsible for. It is now moldy insulation up in the ceiling from the leak and all they are willing to do is provide a humidifier whoch will not do anything for the molded insulation and I have asthma. Billing/Collection Issues I have been living in my current home for almost 6 years now, and never had so many issues until VineBrook Homes purchased my rental property to manage. It has been 2 months since I contacted them about my floor flooding due to a broken water heater. Problems with Product/Service Vine Brooks homes bought out my current company I rented from, which is conrex property Management. I took pictures before I moved in with conrex due to no walk in with a property manager due to covid. Billing/Collection Issues At the beginning of March 2021, we reached out to Vinebrook Homes to notify them of water damage on the ceiling of one of our bedrooms. The next day a maintenance worker came out and assessed the damage and informed us he would need to get a roofing contractor out to fix the roof, we were initially very happy with the timely response. Problems with Product/Service My air has been out for almost a month and no one has fixed it. I have a son with asthma and cant get overheated. It's too hot to be without air. Advertising/Sales Issues I am being held responsible to pay for days after my lease agreement and will not be occupying the residence. On March 15th I reached out to the retention specialist to discuss me vacating the property due to my lease being expired and mold growth on the carpet and having a newborn.
