About this business
Have used Vonage and this app for years. Some versions have been better than others. The idea for this app is great and really necessary in order to get the most out of Vanage service. However, when I answer a call on the app, I find that it drops it at some point about 50% of the time. This didn’t happen when I first got the service/app. Also, there are quite a few times when I get a call and the app never rings or activates. Great idea for an app. And critical. But I wish it worked more reliably.
Pros: You can call internationally.* Cons: This requires you to have another phone line, to call their domestic number, then makes the call. It means if you do travel internationally, you can't make calls unless your other line works. So if you thought this was a one stop solution to have a phone that calls your girl in each city, it still requires a phone number in every country.
The only thing that will make this 5 star would be to have SMS/TEXT option
Clear voice and no clicks or strange sounds. Works for my domestic and international calls. Gives me info in my account and lets me check voicemail too
It’s a good app. I don’t like how Vonage will cancel your ability to make international calls, but still continue your other services. When you make your payment, you lose those days between payments and don’t get a reset. On the technical side i only had issues about 2-3 times over those years. So it’s a good service, but it could be frustrating with the bill and international calls. If you don’t pay it the day it’s due.
I’ve had Vonage for going on 22 years and I have no complaints. I use their international calling to the UK twice a week to speak with family and during Covid I called every day to stay in touch. I have only had to contact customer service once during this whole time and received excellent support to correct the issue. With the Vonage app I am able to call anywhere that there is WiFi with no issues.
Super convenient from anywhere in the world. Call my mother from it and it is as if we are next to each other 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
One of the best in VOIP service. Seamless.
1. The gray tiny fonts. Why? Not everyone is blessed with 20/20 vision. 2. The inability to delete selected entries from the list of calls is primitive. It is all or nothing. Bah.
