I downloaded and have used this app from the moment I received my adapter. It works very well with the phones, Google Android and iPhones 11-12, down to ‘muting calls’ if that is set up for unknown contacts, but there are caveats. I switched from OOma to Vonage and the set up took less than five minutes and everything has been running smooth ever since. With OOma I was on the phone with them every other day for hours. This is a million times better.
I have been with Vonage for over a decade and have been very pleased with him until this year. For the second time this year, the mobile app has stopped registering new calls. that means I get a notice of a missed call I can’t see the number to call it back without going into the billing section of the app to look for it. The first time it took them days to resolve it. The second time I’m still waiting for them to resolve it.
I travel a lot and I like using my phone extension regularly when I call the USA. It sounds clear and easy to use.
I’ve been using the Vonage app for two weeks and it can be frustrating. Calls have a habit of cutting out mid-sentence or there are noticeable delays after talking before the other person responds. None of this happened when I’m using Vonage on a landline in my house. Being on WIFI doesn’t help. Another huge problem is the app is somewhat clunky feeling and extremely slow to respond. I’ve just sign up for Vonage !!! I’ll have to wait & see whether I like it or not?!! It’s still remaining to be seen?!?!
The most important thing about a company is their customer service, period. Vonage corrects and LISTENS TO THE PROBLEM. THEIR GOAL IS NOT TO PLACE BLAME BUT TO CORRECT AND RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. 100% love them.
I too am having trouble seeing my recent calls in the app. The problem started about 2-3 months ago. When ringing I can see incoming calls but if I miss a call I’m out of luck. Going to the recent calls tab shows nothing so I can’t call anyone back if I can’t see the phone number and name. They need to have an update for this app. Otherwise semi useless. iPhone continues to make updates but it looks like the Vonage app technology has fallen behind.
