Ten of us had a lovely dinner celebrating our high school grad. Lovely space with tucked-away locations for groups. Food was fantastic -- cassoulet, halibut, snapper, mussels all big winners. Service very smooth and attentive. Love this restaurant, plus the bar and patio are wonderful spots to hang out.

My wife and I both enjoyed the halibut dinner the other night. The portion was not large but adequate. The basmati rice could have been a slightly larger portion. I ran out of it before I finished my fish. We each had a nice glass of wine then split a dessert. Add a cup of coffee for her and a 15% tip and it was a $115 meal. Nice and tasty, but getting a little up there for portions received, we thought. I'd also suggest a couple more choices in the desserts area, one being for lovers of chocolate.

The outside patio was gorgeous and enjoyed lunch there. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will most definitely go back.

We have eaten at this lovely restaurant many times and have had many wonderful meals. For us the menu has gotten a little too experimental, too many unusual ingredients or combinations of ingredients. Though we still love thie place, we were disappointed with the menu choices.

W.A Frost stands apart from all other restaurants in its ambience, historic building, creative and delicious food and multiple difference venues in one restaurant. The food was scrumptious and elegantly presented to us. We loved and it an will be back as soon as possible.

Food excellent. Service slow. Wine portions small.

I took a friend for lunch at W.A. Frost because it has the most beautiful outdoor dining venue in the Twin Cities bar none. The weather was totally cooperative and we had a lovely, comfortable table. I must say that the food has never been the reason to go to Frost in the past for me but my opinion has done a total 180 after lunch the other day. Wow. Not only was our selection delicious but it was beautifully presented. The menu is eclectic and interesting and makes me want to go back to try more now that I have experienced ... read more

This is an old standby but they are certainly not resting their laurels. The food was great and the wine list is exceptional.
