Always great experience at Frost-one of the best patios for summer dining in the Cities and the food is always scrumptious.
That fried oyster po'boy is out of this world, and so is the pork belly. The bartender know how to make the best sidecar ever! What can I say? It's a beautiful place with fabulous food and great service.
This is the perfect patio spot! On a lovely MN summer evening, nothing could be finer for ambience. That being said, our server was borderline rude and inattentive. Food was good; however, nothing terribly special considering the price. Drinks very expensive. I would definitely go back for the patio experience but am not raving about the food/service component.
It was a large group reservation and some of our party didn't show - the service was easily adjusted and delivered with excellence! It made our event special and completely satisfying! Always the best!
The food was pretty dang good. I had the fried oyster po' boy sandwich and my boyfriend had the grassfed hamburger. I've always wanted to try a po' boy. Its flavor profile was good, the dressing not overwhelming. I am glad I ordered it. The portions are generous here for what you would think they'd be (considering the price class). A friend was visiting from WI before heading out that night on a flight. He had previously lived in the neighborhood as a poor college student and had never eaten at the restaurant. It was the perfect choice for the evening--the ambience, the décor, the service, the food--made for a memorable evening.
Food was wonderful. Both my husband and I hope to visit soon to enjoy the same dishes.
WA Frost has a fantastic patio! It is cozy and has a great vibe.
