W.A. Frost continues to be my favorite neighborhood restaurant (among a field of lovely choices) and I am happy whether I go for brunch, lunch, dinner, or happy hour in the bar. I rarely order dessert, but love the mini-dessert options. The mussels are my favorite appetizer or happy hour gnosh. It's just good all around. Why is it that my reservations on Open Table for W.A. Frost do not earn points?

This was the second time at WA Frost and Company, and I was not disappointed! WA Frost is beautifully decorated, and when I walked in the host was very respectful to me. He knew his customer service. I chose the tasting menu, as it was new. I did not choose the wine pairings. I had never done a tasting menu so this was new to me. Outstanding restaurant! Very unique, artisanal menu... definitely a special occasion dinner selection that will NOT disappoint. Lovely old building w/lots of character - wish we had gone early to have a cocktail in the downstairs lounge. Top 10 restaurant in Twin Cities.

Always a pleasure. Never a disappointment. The chef has an amazing way with food. The service was impeccable. The ambiance is wonderful. All our guests were pleased.

all was good except the pheasant was rubbery,....and very difficult to chew.......couldn't even get past the rubbery skin at times. Otherwise, lovely.

It's been over a year since we returned to WA Frost, as the quality of the food had deteriorated and we were often sadly disappointed. We've been going there for years and realize that every restaurant has its ups and downs, but had pretty much given up on Frost. But here's the good news. We were invited to join friends there and decided to go. Our meal on Saturday night was excellent and the quality of everything was first rate. I'm not sure what has happened, but I hope that they can keep up this great improvement.

We live near Duluth and were in the Cities to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Since we moved north from the Cities in 1997 we often return for a weekend of dining, shopping and visiting our children and grandchildren. W.A. Frost is one of our favorite places. The food is delicious and you have an excellent variety of tastes to satisfy the palate. There are options for small plates so you can try a variety of dishes. The ambience is always pleasant and the service was quick and thoughtful.

Sometimes when there are so many new places to have a nice dinner, it is easy to forget what one of the long time establishments with fresh ideas can really do. W A Frost produced a wonderful meal with unusual pairings that captured all of the senses. It was done with reasonable prices and perfect service delivered by an exceptional staff.
