Our first experience was great from the online reservation with a fireplace request. To arriving 10minutes early and being seated by the fireplace. The waitress was tremendous. The food was great tasting. I thought portions were a little small but did not leave needing more. The kit kat desert was great to top the meal off. The meal for two was pricey but worth it.
The food at W.A. Frost was wonderful. We got several small plates to share. All were very flavorful and the portions were perfect for two. The ambiance there was very comfortable, yet romantic. We sat by the fireplace and looked out into the outdoor patio which I can't wait to go back and visit. The service could have been a little better. Food came out quickly but the server was unremarkable. All in all a good experience though and we'll be back.
I don't recommend the chef's tasting menu. They charge basically full price for each item and they reduce the amount of each so you don't get full. If you're going for two people, order each individual item off the menu and share. Cost would be $110 regularly two vegetarian chef tasting courses down to $60 for full quantity entre's. Food was awesome though! Also, if you do go with the chef tasting menu, don't both order the wine options. It's too much wine. Just order one wine group to share.
We were cold upon arrival and were seated right by the fireplace! So nice!
Went for Restaurant Week & it was extremely delicious. The whole place oozed Old World charm - loved the numerous wood burning fireplaces. Our waitress was also very funny & quirky, but in the best possible way. Overall a wonderful experience and would love to go back with some out of town guests or something.
Great Restaurant! I'll be back.
Wonderful experience during restaurant week! I had the fennel stuffed pork shoulder roulade and it was perfectly cooked! Great flavor and thoughtful presentation. The ambiance is very cozy and romantic. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable but the timing was extremely slow. Our table waited almost 30 minutes after we got drinks for our server to return to take the rest of our order. Aside from slower paced service, it was a very positive experience and I'd definitely return!
Our waiter was great, knew the menu and patiently helped us through finding gluen free options.
First time visit during Restaurant Week. Really enjoyed the food and ambience. Gourmet food offered was wonderful and left us feeling great. Tried the red wine flight. Very Nice. Will return again!
