As far as the black subscription goes, the 2 areas I think that need improvement are the preferences and the actual value of the watch. I see a lot of people, myself included that receive watches that do not match the preferences they selected. The 2nd problem which I think is even more important is the fact that for the $100 black sub, you claim to send a watch with a minimum value of $150. This is definitely not the case . My first 2 months subscription I received 2 watches that sell routinely for under $100 . Both of my s... read more
Business response:
Hey John we apologize for any frustration you may have experienced regarding your watches. The value determination of our watches is based on many factors including the retail price and lowest online selling price. Before we ever strike a deal with a partner, we look to see where the watches are selling and for how much. For instance, if a Citizen watch is being sold in a jewelry store for $300, but is stocked online for $180, we use $180 to determine the value. To be clear, we do not base our values from auction sites due t... read more
wheel spins are rigged without a doubt

Hey David, that's not true. If you're frustrated with any of your Wheel spins please shoot us a DM! We'll help you out any way we can.
last 3 watches have been black face, black leather band, and silver case preferred silicone band still have not received one zero out of nine
I was going to sign up but felt that the whole approach was very unprofessional. You should be more upfront with things like not being able to return watches or the fact that evey watch isn't a recognized major brands.
Business response:
Hey Cory, we apologize for any confusion regarding our policies. All of this info is outlined in our FAQ: https://www.watchgang.com/FAQs. As far as our brands are concerned, they range all the time from well known to completely unknown. Craft brands are generally able to get you higher quality pieces with better specs for the price. Aside from all the up and comers, we have partnerships with Seiko, Citizen, Casio, NOMOS, Maurice Lacroix and many others. Hope this helps clarify things and let us know if you have any other que... read more
It’s not for everyone. My first watch was priced online well below my Watch Gang installment. The second watch I found to be a good watch at a significant savings. Most of the people I know want a deal each and every time. At this point I am not sure a deal every time is what I will receive. However, if you like surprises and/or don’t have the time to shop for watches, this may be the membership for you.
I’ve been a member for 5 months. 3 of the 5 watches I received for my subscription were from the same company. Moreover, I paid $99 a month plus shipping, roughly $116.00 for watches I could have gotten on eBay for $50. I am not in the habit of leaving negative reviews, but this has been my experience. I will be canceling my subscription this month.
Business response:
Hey Charles, we're sorry for any frustration that you've experienced with your subscription. We're happy to dig into this a little deeper for you and help you out in any way we can. While we stand behind the value of the watches we send out, we do want our members to be happy and receiving watches they like! Therefore, please reach out to our Member Support Team about this via the link we've provided and they'll get back to you shortly: https://help.watchgang.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
The watches are really good quality. If you’re joining watch gang to get a $500 watch for $100 subscription. Just know you were wasting your money. This subscription is for watch enthusiasts who want a watch with the quality not the value of a $500 watch. Or $1500 depending on what subscription you use. It’s really for people who want to try different watch brands but don’t want to get burned. This program will introduce you to micro brands that you would never have bought in your life. And will make lifelong fans out of sai... read more
I’ve learned a lot about watches and overall watch quality from the exchange page. Enough to realize the value throughout the entire industry is super inflated and watch gang is taking advantage of this perception. Still may keep membership but it’s frustrating to know the watch you paid over $300 for May only be worth $250 retail and even less on exchange. Hopefully I’ll find someone to exchange with. Live and learn. But I wouldn’t recommend anyone going down the rabbit hole the way I did

Do not get watch gang. It is a rip-off with awful customer service. They claim the watches are all micro brands but if you look online many of the watch companies websites where created one month before watch gang sent them out. You can find the same watches on Aliexpress in many cases for a fraction of the cost. I have been trying to cancel my subscription but it’s impossible even though they say easy cancellation. There is no button on the website to cancel and I suspect that is because they know that it is much cheaper to... read more
