I wanted to love Watch Gang. The ads are very enticing and well I love watches!!! After watching videos and ads and looking around I joined. Originally the regular tier ($29) I set my preferences and waited. Low and behold my first watch arrived in a disgusting two tone gold and silver (last preferences listed gold it’s gross) and the watch was dead. Well I am still new to this and guess I had some unreal expectations. I figure i havent recieved a watch with the value of 500 dollars yet. first watch was a Nautis Global Diver I gave away and the second watch was a Drift. total crap I thought. was going to opt out of my sub but thought to give it 1 last time.
first watch was great and then I upgraded to platinum and got ripped off. got a watch that was 4 sale on several sites for less than my subscription fee.
I don't mean to dismiss the service outright. They do give you exactly what they claim to give you, a watch valued at upwards of 5x your monthly dues. However, the "style selector" or whatever it's called seems to continue to be a non-factor in the outcome of which watch you receive. In theory watch gang can be fun however it’s not fun when you pay $299 for platinum and you receive a watch that you can buy online for $230. They guarantee the watch will have an msrp of up to $1500 well that’s the issue. If the retail value of the watch was actual and not inflated and the manufacturer was selling them for $1500, watch gang would never get the opportunity to sell them. The watch didn’t meet my expectations. Found it cheap. The stopwatch second hand didn’t stop on 12 o’clock. I’m more into mechanical watches, so maybe this society isn’t my cup of tea.

I was awarded a watch but was sent a much cheaper model that I didn't even know existed until I complained and then was given the link to the cheaper model. Totally dishonest.

Watches suck, all chinese made microbrands. Very low quality. Auto charge renewal for another 6 months. I can't take my paypal info off their site. It's my fault for forgetting to cancel, but they wont even respond to my email asking for a refund. I haven't even received anything yet.
