Location, location, locations We receGreatntly moved back to Durham after 4 years away and decided to rent in West Village (Moore Bldg) before purchasing a house. We have loved being downtown and being able to walk everywhere. The location is amazing & super convenient. We walk to Bulls games, the farmer's market, Duke East Campus, and tons of great restaurants/bars. The awesome pool and outdoor kitchen were favorite spots during the summer too. Awesome sauce Me and my girlfriend just moved down here from Richmond and we're having a hard time looking for an apartment. Then we came to west village and Courtney did such an awesome job showing us around that we ended up signing right there on the spot. And as far as the apetment goes 10 STARS.
Pleasant Staff and Great Location Cortney, who works in the leasing office, is very attentive to the needs of her clients, which made the move in process a seamless experience from the complex's standpoint.
Pricey, but nice Been living at West Village going on 7 years now, after going to high school and college in Durham and then going away for a while. The revitalization of downtown is pretty amazing, and West Village is right in the heart of it. The location can't be beat, and the apartments themselves are very nice. Spacious, great light, lots of amenities, and again, being able to walk to DPAC, the ballpark, the Durham Farmer's Market - it's awesome.
The perfect community My roommate and I moved to West Village a few months ago and we already love it! Cortney made the transition easy and welcoming, we feel so lucky to have our new home! It is so convenient for us to bike or bus to Duke campus for work, and so close to downtown, Brightleaf, and Tobacco Campus for any food or entertainment we might want. West Village I have been living in West Village now for approx 1 year and just signed a lease for my second year. The rent did increase but less than 10% which I thought was fairly reasonable. I have also seen a number of improvements in the last year such as dog parks added, new flooring in common areas, the general upkeep of common are grills, pools and workout center.
