I scheduled a bath and nail trim for my little dog. Both were done very well however, I didn't have the free nail trim coupon with me and therefore was charged $16.00 for this service. In the past, when I mentioned it the charge was cheerfully removed but not this time. I was told if I found my coupon they would remove the charge . . . I'm looking for it, but a little upset that I have to. On Jan. 26, 2019 we came rushing into the hospital because our dog was choking no appointment or anything they immediately came took our dog away to save her life. We have never been so scared in our life. A few minutes later the doctor came in with our dog happy as can be. They saved her. Every single one of the workers were the most caring organized team I ever seen. Schnookie Palucci is home doing wonderful and not stealing pork chop bones again. We will always thankful and grateful, The Palucci Family

If I could put infinite as the star rating I would. Last week (friday) we had a unfortunate event occur. Late Friday night I noticed that our girl cat was worse off then she had felt earlier in the week. At 9:30 at night not a lot of places are open so my wife and I opted for the VCA. Obviously being an emergency place the prices are out of this world. But again, that's expected and I don't blame them. This was my first visit to Wheaton Animal Hospital. The front desk staff were very welcoming and efficient and got us into our appointment on time. The techs and doctor were also caring, friendly and interested in getting as much information as possible about my pup. The best part; we had labs done and the doctor called us later that evening the same day to give us results which has NEVER happened at any vet I've ever been to. I am very pleased with their care and will definitely make them our regular vet.

The veterinarians are personable, customer service oriented, and thorough. We moved further away a couple years ago and continue to take our cats here because we are so pleased with their service.

My 7 1/2 year old Australian Shepherd mix had torn the cruciate ligaments on both knees. Dr. Cole explained the procedures available and I opted for the TPLO surgery. Although it was a greater expense and a long rehab, I am so glad I had it done. My dog had one knee surgery in July and the second one in September. Drs. Cole and Widener both supported me with my concerns, questions and fears, and assured me he would get better. And he did! My family and I have been going to Wheaton Animal Hospital for the past 15 years. I initially heard about Wheaton Animal Hospital when I worked in the kennel at Petland in Bloomingdale and I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Lancaster and Dr. Rubendall while I worked there. Having several animals over the years we have always gone to Wheaton. Easily my favorite vet around. Everyone here is so polite and so educated. I absolutely love the doctors and will always continue to take my furry friends here & refer others to this clinic.
